However…her absolute mush mouth answer to the Taiwan question was indicative.

If she's going to make a run at POTUS she needs to have an answer to that question and the fact she screwed up means she knows she would have made news if she had answered it.

What matters are her actual hardline political views…and someone who's definitely afraid to say that TWN is in our national interest is a much bigger deal.

I agree that it is her ideology that is so destructive and dangerous, but pointing out how little she knows (or how much she knows that is just wrong - thanks Reagan), helps to underscore how dangerous she is in a very visible and non-theoretical way that not even a liberal can argue with.

Think it is a fairly close race between AOC and OP.

Rubio was right the Spaniards brought cattle ranching and horseback vaqueros to the Americas after originating there. We learned it from them. The Spaniards horsemanship was influenced by Arabs, who in turn were influenced by the Persians. And the domestic cattle themselves originated in the Middle East and spread across Europe to reach Spain.

There were quite a few black cowboys in the old west (some estimates show 25% of cowboys were), but they didn't invent it.

When I went to Hawaii I was interested to learn about their paniolos. The British gifted cattle to the Hawaiians in the late 1700s. In the 1830s the King of Hawaii brought over some Mexican vaqueros from California. So the Hawaiian cowboys have been around as long as the Texan ones.

I knew Venezuela was near the equator, but I would have guessed it was south or at least straddled it. TIL. And while I'm certainly no geography expert, I'm definitely well above average for an American. I think if we're being honest most folks on here would have got that one wrong. Yes, she's pretty dumb. But this maybe isn't the best evidence of it.

She has ZERO chance of winning the nomination. Dem leaders learned their lesson from Harris. If you're putting a minority woman up there, she better have a pulse

My initial guess was that the equator ran through Venezuala, but I looked to verify. Nope. Venezuela is 100% north of the equator. It runs through Ecuador, Columbia, and Brazil. All other Spanish speaking SA countries are 100% south of the equator, including Peru.
