Was at Floribama sitting at one of the bars there with the wife. Started talking life with some random couple I met.

Found out guy was an Aggie ('91). Found out our politics and world view are quite similar. Mentioned my illness from a couple years ago. Mentioned a story I shared a while back here on F16.

Guy asked me if I was an F16 poster. He guessed who I was by what we talked about.

He doesn't post - but he lurks here.

It's also interesting how often I'm talking sports w/ people IRL and they mention something like "Battered Aggie Syndrome" or other Texagsisms without mentioning or admitting to TexAgsing.

I've met a few people from TexAgs just randomly at events or they see it on my phone if I'm waiting somewhere and when they ask me what my handle is, I'm always a little hesitant to tell them. I say don't judge me just by my political personality.

Made a bucket list trip to Vegas with my Aggie son for the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament about a decade ago. Had been asking for tips & suggestions on the basketball board with lots of contributions from TA posters. Stopped into one of the off-strip casinos to watch an early game and finally found two seats together next to a guy wearing an Aggie shirt. Spoke for a couple of minutes before realizing that he was one of the posters that had been posting advice. He guessed my TA handle correctly as well. Good bull!
