Rachel Wilson discusses book, Seceret History of Women's Liberation. Interesting historical misconceptions and other unknown facts related to feminism and "suffrage".

Key points:
-Most women in early 1900s were politically apathetic, and didn't care to vote.
-Many of the "heroic female pioneers" were horrible people (M.Sanger etc.)
-Modern feminism is counterproductive to female progress.
-Toxic feminism dominates academia and c-suites of Corporate America.
-Stay at home motherhood is undervalued.

Little do they know but the "stay at home mom" was the pinnacle of female empowerment.

Now they are stuck in 9-5 jobs just like all the men are forced into just to survive. Hope they enjoy the stress they begged for!

One thing that is a more recent push is women playing men's sports and getting upset that people don't think their version is as good as the dominant male one. I would think true feminism would be to create something unique and awesome that everyone would want to watch.

Also, this is what happens with the fake degrees we created. Women's studies type degrees have no income potential, so they create their own cottage industry of nagging the world about made-up drama that does not make sense.

I'll tell you what, the communist have a very thorough game plan. Multiple fronts, of which feminism is one.

Yes, if I wanted to watch slower, weaker, generally less talented humans compete in sport, I could go watch any version of men's high school sports and itd be better than any professional women's league.

they have fully captured the vast majority of the <40 population. they are waaaaaay beyond destabilization. they achieved that in the 60's and 70's with a brief setback in the 80's and 90's

Or just have kids where you are compelled by society to spend many a Saturday watching t-ball and little kid soccer. So brutal. You'll never even consider watching female sports later in life after years of that.

They could have totally made mud wrestling and pole dancing a multi-billion dollar business - reality shows, competitions, classes for the stay at home moms, etc. Just think of all the multi-level marketing companies they could have setup to support these industries!

But noooo...instead we get...women's basketball and soccer?!?

That prof needs to listen to some Billy Bob Thornton dialogue from Landman.

In all seriousness this reminds me of when I was in school and read Chomsky's "Manufacturing Consent". Most people read that and take it to be about what Chomsky wanted which was essentially the speech in Good Will Hunting where Will does the interview with the NSA and essentially explains how they manipulate the public and are evil capitalists. The book reveals some greater truths though and that is that the principles of propaganda and manipulating the public have nothing to do with the actual policies but are just a method, you can use them for or against issues.

More than that though as I read it there were so many things that would easily be dismissed in his arguments with a tiny bit of common sense and it was clear he simply ignored anything that went against his arguments. You can make all kinds of stuff like this if you simply ignore the counter points and obvious facts and that is something both sides do. It's the death of critical thinking and unfortunately that kicked into overdrive in schools sometime in the late 90s and '00s due to guys like Chomsky and the Political Correctness movement that eventually became the Woke lunacy and all the other mess.

Now you have Universities, esp Liberal Arts, dominated by idiots like this who just make up this stupidity and get validation from other idiots and since they have 3 letters after their name they call it credible when the reality is "The Emperor has no clothes".

I noticed this decades ago when reading Chomsky. He makes unsupported assertions as if they are 100% factual and just goes from there. It's no wonder Lefties end up holding such ridiculous opinions that can so easily be discredited.

That's what is hilarious. Did they grow up thinking their fathers were happy that they had to spend two hours in traffic every day and slave away at a job they hated just so they could take care of their wife and children...a necessary evil basiaclly. A very small % of people really love and enjoy what they do...you're lucky if you don't completely hate your job imo. Mine's ok for instance, but I only do it because I have to as a provider...and so I can own car, home etc. and take the occasional vacation.

How impressionable do you have to be to be swindled into thinking a life dedicated almost exclusively to your career and nothing else is enticing?

Oh if we could just go back to this...

Our country would be unstoppable. It would be so much better. All of this political chaos simply would not exist.

You don't get the BLM movement or people swarming ICE in the city streets without the existence of millions of brainwashed, lost, nagging women. Our city streets would be much safer bc they love to vote for tough-on-police-soft-on-criminal policies. We could go on and on all day.

Petro-Masculinity

That's a new one on me.

That gal's head would explode if she ever ventured past Beltway 8 on the ESE side of Houston.

And if she made it as far as I-45 & FM646, she'd die from shock at the sheer number of jacked up F-250s and F-350s exuding Petro-Masculinity.

I wonder how she'd feel when she found out that some of the big truck drivers are actually straight white females who like men who work at "The Plant"?

There really is no hope for these enviro-feminist wack jobs. I guess we can be happy that they're probably not breeding.

The more radical and extreme they are the less likely they are to produce. That's the saving grace for humanity.

Feminism was born off the rails.

The entire premise is rotten. Women and men are different, and a healthy society will optimize for respective competencies / dispositions. Where the roles and responsibilities do not follow, the society will fractue.

There is no "wave" of feminism which doesn't contain anti-civilizational premises.

Such delusion for them to get butthurt over it. They are biologically inferior to us. Literally science. And there is nothing wrong with that.

My daughter told me once that it would be better for the country if we repealed the 19th Amendment, but we couldn't do that in a country where individual liberty and the natural rights of human beings were core foundation of the country.

She said that if she was queen of the world, she and her husband would make it so that women couldn't vote, but married men would get two votes.

So, she might be in the "vast minority", but there are still some based kids out there. More than most people realize.

Wow. I had not seen that one.

A couple years ago when I was still living in California, I had to do a 2 hour long training on all that DEI crap and there was no way to get out of it. One of the most painful things I've ever had to do.

The vocal fry on the HR lady he was talking to, grated on my nerves.
