This one giving me fits. Out on Cornyn due to gun issues, Paxton doesn't inspire me and Hunt is an unknown quantity. Thoughts?

I voted for Hunt mostly because despite the campaign rhetoric from the weirdos in the GOP, he's pretty solid on the issues. I dislike Cornyn for numerous reasons and I think Paxton is a scumbag.

I can't figure out who's running the negative Hunt commercials. I think it's Cornyn trying to get those folks for him. Paxton appears to be in the lead.

Call me crazy, but a politician banging some side chick doesn't really move the needle for me because it's unfortunately a common thing in society. I bet some people you and your SO are friends with have skeletons you don't know about.
Either way, I think he's done a good job as AG and has fought the dems as much as he could from that position.
Hunt doesn't move the needle for me, and Cornyn is probably shacking up with Susan Collins as much as he effs over his party.

This. I generally try to vote for whoever best matches my personal values, and that's Hunt.
In a runoff between Cornyn and Paxton - I just can't give the Dams a chance.

I am more concerned about the financial and public issues he has had than his private life. That said the combination of the two show a pattern of poor judgement on Paxton's part.

I think RINO propaganda has done a number on republican voters in Texas. There's always something wrong with any conservative candidates running, so we have to vote for the moderate or the dems may win. Scared republican voters fall for it every 2 years.
Voted Paxton. He is a Trump type. Questionable personal life, but gets things done and takes action. He has won a state wide office before, so he is electable. A little shifty vibes when you talk to him, but no more than some of your regular Corp business men type that have high aspirations. He is engaged, just hope he stays that way when elected (like all of them). I think he will be a good transition from Cornyn to the next senator, who hopefully will be stricter conservative. Tough to go against a long sitting senator, and we may get a better candidate pool when Cornyn retires (open field election)

It is why the Senate is not doing anything voters overwhelmingly voted for. They're worthless and Cornyn is just one of the problems.
I voted for Paxton but if Cornyn wins, I'll vote for him in the midterms. Anybody but a Democrat.
