I want to gerrymander to prevent liberals from ever having control. They are insane and evil. Democrats are the party of murder and depravity.

Democrats spend far more time on ridiculous polices that enable and coddle criminals than they do actually protecting the public and fighting crime.

Also, they worry about the dumbest stuff.

Many bowel issues would be resolved if people would walk around in circles then squat over a particular piece of green grass to defecate. It would dig in to SquatyPotty sales but there are trade-offs in everything.

The gerrymander war is a sign that it's a race to the bottom.

the filibuster will go away. DC and PR will be states. SCOTUS will be packed...Dems will keep trying assassinations.

The left and the right are like oil and water. They do not mix.

Your point about preventing liberals from ever having control is something I've brought up several times to this oil and water problem.

Conservatives need to either

A) continue the status quo of one step right, two steps left which is cushy now but leaves a bigger problem for future generations to deal with.
B) exert dominance over the left to prevent the left from having power, though this is not typically a conservative philosophy.
C) advocate for a peaceful divorce.

The best possible outcome in my opinion is a massive cultural shift that the populace embraces towards personal responsibility, freedom, and a limited government. But based on how many freeloaders there are and how apathetic people are towards politics I don't see that happening barring the left making the mistake of going into overdrive and inadvertently forcing that awakening.

The entire northeast, california, and now Virginia are already gerrymandered in their favor

Don't know why people have issues with gerrymandering.

Do they believe every district should be 50/50 or what is an acceptable split?

How does this promote stability?

It's simple. Left has gerrymandered all their states and the Right has not. So, this advantage the Left has will go away if the Right matches what they have done. And, the left has shot their wad, so there is not much they can do to counter a Right effort to match what the left has done.

Therefore, the Left is against gerrymandering.
