I never suggested intentional Measles exposure.
And the childhood recommended vaccine schedule continues to recommend the MMR vaccine.

I had shingles once. It was a pain, but not terrible. Had two friends that it made miserable for weeks. One hospitalized.

Shingles blows, but at least there is medication which can stop it from getting worse.

If you ever come down with singles, go to the doctor immediately and get a prescription for anti-viral medication. It is highly effective at stopping it in its tracks, although the pain and rash will still take time to go away.

Tip, you cannot catch shingles from someone, but if you've never had chickenpox or the chickenpox vaccine, you can get chickenpox from someone with an active case of shingles by coming into contact with the blisters.

How many people really actually stopped getting proven vaccines like the media claims ? Feels like the whole narrative that there are all these "anti vaccers" is on par with "right wing extremists" are the most dangerous group in America.
The reality is these easily preventable diseases such as measles are being so ready because of illegal immigration due to democrats open borders but the media won't admit that so they claim there is a new movement of anti vaccine people and there probably is a movement… of a few hundred people which is nothing compared to the millions that came across the Rio Grande. Don't forget that anyone who refused the covid jab was "anti vaccine" too.

I was in a call yesterday where providers talked about new parents declining the vitamin K shot at birth which is causing issues in newborns. Mothers milk does not supply enough K especially in the beginning, so this is important to prevent internal bleeding.

I didnt even have my babies in the hospital and we still got the vitamin k shot.

Granted, I am an Ol' Dame but the public perception when the definitions of "vaccine" and "immunity" were changed after multiple decades just resulted in confusion as to whether even the old proven vaccines were still efficacious in conferring the former definition of immunity. One does not get sick as their immune system is successful in fighting it off.

So parents naturally wonder about the efficacy of all vaccines after covid crap.

But then there is a silent reasonable contingent who trusts the time tested vaccines but opts out of some of the newer more experimental ones that don't seem necessary. Hep-B vaccines for newborns come to mind. Hard pass, even though almost every medical professional in the world will recommend it just like they did the experimental trash covid "vaccines" (which obviously weren't even vaccines).

They also recommend annual flu vaccines. Hard effing pass on that...don't do it. Gotta do your own research and go with your gut...the days of blindly trusting a bunch of people who are just good at memorizing things but not thinking outside of the box or "on the fly" are over for many of us.

Same group tells you things like red meat and nicotine are the devil lol.

This is what happens when medical professionals have broken so much trust. These people so many on here blindly support were desperately urging my 5mo pregnant wife (knowing she had just recently recovered from Covid) to get the Covid shots in early 2021. They literally used the words "free and 100% safe".

I explained to them that we would pass, that we didn't need it and our precious fetus didn't need to be exposed to a rushed experimental vaccine...one that wasn't even recommended for people under 16 years of age at the time". They looked at me like I was a complete loon. That's when I knew I was never getting the worthless trash fake vaccine.

Far too many doctors are one dimensional thinking tards who are simply disciplined and good at memorizing things from a manual.

"Shingrix" is the vaccine, as I recall. 2 doses. First dose put me on the couch the next morning, second was no big deal.

The parents of my daughter's friend both got shingles at the same time...both severe cases. Pretty crazy coincidence given that it is not contagious.

What are the risk factors? Poor immune system? Obesity? Or does it attack everyone without discrimination, on a somewhat random basis?

It actually sounds horrible.
