So I know I'm already voting for Paxton, but I have no idea on the other races. Does anyone know of a good voting guide that I can go over to educate myself more on the candidates? I'm in Nacogdoches, so I think I'm in district 17.

Smaller races maybe not as reliable, it's kind of a messy race with endorsements intertwining and conflicting

That tweet says to print and take it with you. The people running the polls wouldn't even let my wife and me take a Post It note with the props we wanted to vote for into the booth with us one year. So I doubt they would allow a printed list like that.

I'm torn on Roy. I love that he isn't afraid to speak his mind and fortunately a lot of the time his voice has been used for conservative ideas that I agree with. However during Covid he had several instances where he used his voice to stifle any critical thinking and pretty much told others to shut up and blindly follow big gov because of the "pandemic".

He's not perfect, but he's still a really solid conservative and I think has earned another chance.

Regarding Middleton, I've never been a big fan of a big money person trying to come in and start a political career unless they really come in hot like a wrecking ball. Trump has been one of the few that have been able to pull that off, and Buzbee almost was able to do it. Otherwise it just seems like a another smart guy that knows the system can be worked in their favor which we've seen countless times in the past and have been burned by.

I bought into the whole MAGA Mays aspect but have changed my mind after further research.

I've only met one person in this race and Mays won't be getting my vote.

Mays seemed to have more of the conservative endorsements like texas tea party and texas patriots pac for the march primary. I always kinda liked Chip though.

I've switched to Mayes Middleton due to Chip's previous actions like supporting impeachment, his dislike of Paxton and association to Cornyn.

Luckily Mayes is leading. It's time for new blood. Not Cornyn/Roy

Bo French seemed to be one of the most conservative Republican County Chairs in Texas.

It does raise some questions but he has zero influence on gambling in TX in his role. Guess I just don't understand ousting the incumbent who has done a good job. I also don't clench my pearls over gambling either, so there's that.

I've seen social media posting by Bo's group claiming Wright gave/allowed water to a Saudi owned company (Sabic). Being in the industry and understanding that operational structure, I find the rhetoric off putting. Follows the Democrat strategy of running on (falsely claiming) your opponent being evil rather than your own merits. It's click bait campaigning.

Cruz endorsed Roy. He did not endorse either Paxton or Cornyn (he said he was too close to them).
