No question and it really sucks. For me, the UK has been reduced to an international zone at LHR where I change planes. Gotta stop there next month en route to Italy. But that's it. It's dead to me and not going back. Really a shame as the wife and I really, genuinely, enjoyed our two previous trips to London.
I spent the early 10's making runs to the UK. Never got used to seeing women in bags (burkas). It was evident where this was all going, so here we are. London has fallen.
Our only reliable allies are Israel and Japan. Everyone else is either an outright enemy, or has completely lost their minds.
Israel, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea can't really be counted as "allies" per se because it's a one way street with all of them and they don't really have much choice unless they want to ally themselves with Russia or China. They're more like customers than allies.
The Saudis are only a tier above those countries because they have been a consistent ally since WWII and they have more money. They've recently proven to be effective implementers of our missile defense systems but... I wouldn't count on them in a Tank battle.
The most consistent US ally since WWII has been Australia.
But... Australia has almost completely lost its collective mind during the past two decades and they're almost entirely dependent on selling Iron Ore and Uranium to China.
Also, in terms of personnel, they're really small. When I lived in Australia, their entire military was like 25,000 people.
And on the "burka" comment. When I went "home" to Saudi Arabia last year, I couldn't get over the fact that women don't have to cover any more. This was on top of the shock that women can drive now (obvious mistake - LOL).
