As many responses said, "I would attend if they dif this in America". Someone thst know how to organize should kick one of these off in College Station. I think it would take off like Wild Fire.

Patriotic songs, maybe a 15 minute speaker (someone cool) Color Guard, and good food/beer.

What a fun night!

I can remember the big beer halls at Hemisfair in San Antonio. Celebrating our German heritage.
What a blast! I was 15 and they didn't check ID!!

There is a subtext that is lost on 99% of people who didn't grow up in France.

One of the ways that the French Revolution got started was through "banquets."

Public opposition and rallies were banned and so French opposition groups and clubs would hold banquets, and provide food and drink for a small cost (or free) and have speaches and things like singing subversive songs as part of the experience to drum up fervor, gather members and coordinate in one of the few ways that they could.

So the Left being in a tizzy isn't about the songs per se. It's about someone running THEIR playbook against them.
