As your graphic says (thanks for posting multiple sides) the issue with windmills is raptors. I doubt that birds kill more red-tailed hawks than windmills, which kill a lot of them.

As for other birds, there are tons of them, and the population can absorb the impact.

Those wind turbine bird strike deaths are VASTLY under reported.

For YEARS they would not allow mortality searching with dogs because that proved that human searching (which is what UFSWS wanted) was about 20% accurate comparatively.

Interesting stats, sure, but that's not really the point. These things cost way more to produce and install than they ever save or help out. They are a blight on the landscapes and just Unnecessary.

And Obama signed an executive order on his last day in office giving wind power companies 500 "incidental take permits" annually to the UFWS so they could not be prosecuted for all the killings of bald eagles by wind turbines.
He would not have done that if they weren't killing eagles.
