As a small token of our regret for the last-minute change of plans and support for our LGBTQIA+ representing partners we are making a $10,000 donation to the Rainbow Rose Center to support and further their work in making sure the York community is as inclusive as we strive to make WellSpan Park in York, Pennsylvania.

The team said tickets from the Pride Night game may be exchanged for tickets to any remaining 2026 regular-season home game.

Seriously, why have pride nights?

You never see Roman Catholic appreciation nights, the players could wear hats like the bishops and pontiff, might not stay in place as well as a baseball cap, but it'd be entertaining.

I know that now there are breast and prostate cancer awareness events at pro sports, but what about the other diseases? I've had cancer, but it was not breast of prostrate. Should I feel excluded and unappreciated?

I've had T1 diabetes most of my life, I've never seen a pro team have an awareness night for that? Do they hate the disabled? What about the people in wheelchairs? Maybe they could have a disabled night and all of the players are in wheelchairs?

Or maybe have a straight night? I bet heads would explode if that happened, the alphabet crowd would protest that, but get offended if all don't embrace their kinks.

Yeah, and the team donated $10,000 as a "small token" of support to the local lbtq alpha soup community center. The team is disappointed in the players as they do not align with the team's vision.

Had Heels somehow been elected and had the same freaks (in the shadows) running things, these players likely would have been charged with a hate crime. The radical activist judges would have been even more emboldened to punish them any way they could.

I mean what is the business reason for such a promotion? A 2025 Gallup survey said 9% of US pop. identifies as LGBTQ (I bet it's really not that high). I would guess that only a tiny percent of that 9% are fans of minor league baseball. So, I doubt that having a pride night would be a big draw for driving up ticket sales. So why do something like this? It just makes no sense. You're just not marketing to your fan base.

ETA: And thank the good Lord above that college football isn't played during June.

How is making an exclusive donation inclusive? How does providing preferential treatment to a homosexual organization provide inclusivity to the heterosexual population?

Looking at the video board at the end of that news clip, it looks like they are planning a Juneteenth celebration as well.

Also, when the coach/manager/whatever was speaking, being him was a jersey with Robinson on the back (couldn't tell if it had the number 42 or not), is that prep for Juneteenth as well? It was hanging on from a shelf on a plastic hanger in a very dignified way.

Here's an idea, instead of pride events, how about gay-only games? In fact how about a gay only season? Only alphabet fans are allowed to attend the games, you know make it a safe space.

I get what you're saying, but a lot of teams do different awareness promotions and games, they're just not as covered as Pride.

The Astros literally just had Down Syndrome Awareness 2 days ago, and they usually do an Autism Awareness game with sensory friendly sections

Many of these surveys show that these people have never engaged in same sex activities. They identify with the Alphabet soup to show they are woke and especially liberal whites want to belong to a marginalized group. The Q+ opens the door for these morons. Homosexuals are actually between 1-2% and 0% are actually trans because no human has ever become the opposite sex and it is a mental illness
