As you know, Trump tied the SAVE act to FISA auth. This is what Trump posted last week:

Thune is a pos, and needs kicked to the curb. I guess you could say he needs the Cornyn treatment, but 2028 won't come soon enough. Thune and the other Rino "Senators" are no better than Democrats since it appears they want to see our Constitutional Republic fail. A pox on all the insidious Rinos. They know a large majority of both Republicans and Democrats want voter ID in this country. For them to not pass it is downright criminal.

Perhaps Colins needs to be threatened since she's vulnerable this election. If we get her vote, then its a "possible" go.

Which doesn't have support of 50 senators. In addition to the 4 republicans against save America act, you'd now have at least Cassidy and Cornyn against being filibuster to get it passed

Which goes back to my point....

they end the filibuster and get nothing out of it.

Dems take control and proceed to pass everything they want with a simple majority. (I think they'll do that anyway, but they could blame the Rs for ending it)

Save America Act is the most glaring example that all of congress needs to get thrown out. 80% of the people they represent are for it on both sides of the aisle and they refuse to get it passed. This should be easy if our elected officials actually believed the "by and for people "

If they don't vote for it, remove them from all of their committees and refuse to contribute to their re-election campaigns. There are levers he can pull, he's just too much of a uniparty ***** to do it.

The only one you could pressure would be Collins since she's up this year.

And doing that, you might have others vote no out of spite because they can't be pressured either, like Cassidy and Cornyn (both lost their primaries).

What we've learned is that these people don't give two ****s about the country. They care about themselves and their seat.

So what's to lose by actually having the balls to do it then? Make the snakes poke their heads up so we can deal with them come election time. Because this way sure as **** isn't working.

Sitting on his hands has only pissed us off and now he's in Trump's crosshairs to get ousted.

What we've learned is that these people don't give two ****s about the country. They care about themselves and their seat.

Collins is already a yes. So is Cornyn (at least, he hasn't publicly reversed since losing). Murk, Cassidy, Tillis and hospitalized/invalid McConnell are the hard no's. Not much leverage on them as they are all political dead-enders at this point. Best option would be to get Fetterman to a yes with something for PA.

But the real problem is probably Thune himself, so it might require some pressure in/on SD, or something Thune really cares about, anyway. Maybe threaten to functionally close Ellsworth AFB, I dunno.

I'm sorry you are right, Cassidy is still a yes I think, he's just mouthed off so much I got in a rush on that. I do think he, Cornyn and Thune actually don't want it to pass, but I mis-spoke there on his official position.

I know there are a few exceptions, but most bills must start over if they haven't been signed into law by the official sine die end of a 2 -year Congress. Better hold onto the House or the Save Act in its current form is dead.

Cornyn will swap in a heartbeat. The first thing that sorry RINO did was go on CNN and admit that he could now freely vote against Trump if he felt like he "needed" to. Another perfect example of someone in it for themselves and not representing his voters

2 of the 4 aren't running again.

Not supporting Collins means a Democrat senator. That doesn't get you any closer to passing.


Murkowski is the final one. So let's say Thune does what you say and it works.
