Must be AI since guns are banned in Canada. I just glanced at the video once but from what I could tell a female police officer was the one responsible for shooting a civilian trying to flee the store. Looked like the Keystone cops.

Sure the fact that it was in a Jewish area is just a coincidence.

You can see hundreds (thousands?) of police shooting videos on Youtube and Rumble. Woman cops are terrible in 99 out of 100. They fail a lot at protecting their partner or themselves. its okay to admit they make subpar cops just like they make subpar infantry.

If the female officer who is in critical condition was also the one who shot the civilian, the question would be had she already been struck by gunfire. If she was, that could explain her shooting someone who suddenly ran in front of her.

Also, perp appears to have been using a SKS, one of the few semi-automatic rifles still legal in Canada.

If you watch the vid, it's a very odd situation.

The guy appears from somewhere but I can't tell exactly where, is in the line of fire that the perp/cops are using during that time, and then moves around the piling/planter towards the cop a bit. He had no business being there at all and certainly was not in his right mind to stand up like that in the line of fire. Strange!

Yep, and the videos we've seen so far don't give us a clear indication of exactly how everything went down.

I'll reserve judgement on the officer until a lot more information is known, but it could easily be a very bad case of "fog of war" on both the officer and civilian.

It looks to me like the bystander was hiding behind that column and he saw the shooter walking towards him where he would be exposed so he was trying to move behind the officer. The perp pops out right where the man was moments after he was shot.

A coworker of mine is currently staying at the hotel this occurred in front of. He was in the lobby conducting a teams call and had no idea what was going on(had his ear buds in) until security ran up to him and told him to get to his room. He said the news is saying a special investigative team was brought in since it has been 24 yrs since a cop was killed and nobody is allowed into the hotel. Once he got up to his room he sent me a video of the police activity going on outside as it unfolded.
