I took Dr. Hallmark's Soil science 301 while I was at A&M probably in 2010, I remember having the red book called "dirt is a 4 letter word" that had everything about soils in it. Upon graduation I got a job dealing with soils and fertility for farmers so I would like to find a copy of that book again. When I was done with the class I passed mine on to a friend and now it is gone. If anyone knows where to get one, please let me know. I contacted copy corner and they said talk to the bookstore but they said they didn't carry them when I called, any information would be apppreciated

nothing on Google...perhaps you can email the professor to see if he could give you another copy.

Yeah I have searched everywhere online thinking it would be an easy find. That professor has retired, I am not sure who took his place. Appreciate the suggestions

I took an Intro Course with Dr. Hallmark as an undergrad... one of the best courses I ever took. Political Science Major.

Came across this thread on search for this book, really to just get the prof's name. In 2010ish was he still offering a 6 pack for finding a new typo in the book? I took it summer of 2007 and spent more time searching for typos than learning the material.

I saw this thread and couldn't help but think about Dr. Murray Milford. He taught 301 when I was at A&M and it was one of the best classes I took. You haven't lived until you spend your evening hours listening to tapes about soil. They don't make profs like him anymore.
