Been out on my own for the last 15 yrs doing residential real estate and I'm just exhausted by the roller coaster ride. I am located in Houston and my family has roots here so we will be sticking around this area. The question I find myself asking is where do I even begin? I know I would do well in a sales role or Business Development role but I don't necessarily have many of the requirements on paper for these roles when I look at job descriptions.
Would it be helpful to contact a recruiter? I have my resume updated but I have seen where you need to update your resume specific to each job you apply for? Cover letters (I assume) are still common practice? If anyone who has went through a similar time and has come out on the other side has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
