I covered Kellen Mond in high school in San Antonio and at Texas A&M. He played 1 series his rookie year in Minnesota. With a new coach and new optimism, he seeks more more playing time in 2022:

Vikings really need to figure out if Mond can develop into a capable backup. Their other backup option, Sean Mannion, is entering his year 30 season with 1 TD and 3 INTs in 110 career attempts over 6 seasons. In 3 career starts, he is 0-3 and has never thrown for more than 189 yards in a game.
