Looking at all the leaderboard, it's going to be pretty tough to compete with the guys who have like 50+ entries..

Mathmatically, yes.

But because of the carnage that was CIN, I bet they spread out picks more moving forward, and eventually they'll have to pick against themselves.

We lost half our pool. And we don't have a buy back in option which I'm glad. I hate when that's available (for large pools).

Had Washington and chickened out and switched to the Colts right before kickoff.. Lame. Probably better for my health watching the Colts never even have a chance, than to have to sweat that WAS/NYG game..

Had a 2nd pick with the Chargers though, so still alive.

Ravens knocked out more this week than the Bengals last week. The first three weeks are always the hardest. After that if you make it through what you are seeing is more consistent with what will take place.

Yes

2/3 of leagues typically get knocked out in the first three weeks. After that it will be at much slower rate bc teams are better known. I usually last pretty long every year but the Ravens got me yesterday.

There is a second pool that starts in week 4 that is seperate from the original.

I'm used to seeing half the league around on week 3. Always some big upsets but these first two weeks combined are unprecedented (for the league I've been playing). It got even crazier after Eagles losing Monday Night. 225 left out of 998 (758 eliminated). That's 78% gone after only 2 weeks. This should be week 4 or 5 numbers.

I was tempted with Jets last night, but felt too risky based on how well NE had been playing. Would have loved to have this week already out of the way and without sacrificing a top team. Applaud those that took the risk.

For those running the large pools, how do you keep track of whos paid when they join? Are you sending the group password out each time a payment comes in? This was my first year running one on yahoo, and I need a better plan for next year. I have time to figure that out now that the Ravens got me.

I'm in a pool where half the entry goes into a pot where you pick winner, and the other half of the pot goes to picking losers. I'm out on the winners side, but i've still got 2 entries left on the losers side with only 8 people left. Real curious to see how i eventually blow this...

Interesting stat I heard this morning. This is the first time in NFL history, since they've started running betting lines (60+ years) that the biggest betting favorite has outright lost the game the first 3 weeks of the season

NFL hates survivor pools lol
