Michael Penix - day-to-day with foot injury. Return of Kirk Cousins?
Tua Tagovailoa - benched in week 7 for Quin Ewers- will start again though
Bryce Young - high ankle sprain - out several weeks - Return of Andy Daulton
Justin Fields - benched in week 7 for Tygod Taylor. wk8 starter not announced, but blistering comments from Jets owner re: Fields
McCarthy/Wentz - both MN qbs are questionable to start the week
Geno Smith - benched in week 7 for Kenny Pickett. Wk8 starter not announced

that's tough. Monangai, Hill, Harvey, Spears might just barely be better starts in week 8 than Henderson. They're all kindof clumped together and none worth starting yet in my mind. and you can't start Brian Robinson Jr.

they're all valuable stashes though. do you drop an elite handcuff like BRJ to start Monangai or Justice Hill in week 8?

Hill has ppr value in the passing game. I'd maybe lean that way if I had to pick one and your league scoring is 1 PPR.

Monangai and Spears can work their way into even split committees with Swift and Pollard and both obviously are elite handcuffs if the starter goes down.
Harvey and Robinson are obviously elite handcuffs just given Dobbins and CMC's injury histories and the offenses they play in.
Henderson looked promising in preseason, has drafted capital invested in him, and Rhamondre has had some fumbleitis, but it just doesn't seem to be happening.

can you trade BRJ+ someone else to the CMC owner for a half-decent RB2? At least get something instead of just dropping BRJ?

Harvey has to be rostered over Robinson

are we dusting off Chase Brown for a start at home vs. the Jets?

All of the guys you mention on waiver will actually touch the ball which is more than can be said for Henderson. You simply cannot play him at this point.

Njoku is the worst rated for week8 and all three are probably clumped together as far as ROS prospects/rankings. Not sure who I'd drop, but you'd still be left with two decent TEs, regardless. Staying away from the Jets offense always seems like wise advice, but they're also changing QBs and still without Garrett Wilson for a bit, so Mason Taylor could be a good hold for now.

Is Oronde Gadsden available?

Due to byes I'm considering picking up either Troy Franklin or Marvin Mims because I think that game turns into a shootout for a one week spot start. JSN and Travis Hunter have byes plus Pearsall may not be available this week. Just traded DK for Quentin Johnston but the timing will force me to miss starting QJ and DK won't be on my roster once their game happens.

there are a couple of really really RB-needy teams out there.. should I:

1. stand pat; I'll be ok, let the RB-desperate teams suffer?
2. propose RB+WR for a WR1?
3. propose RB+RB for a WR1?
4. propose Saquon for a WR1?


Saquon's regression being so drastic this year might feel like the biggest disappointment, but WR feels like the biggest problem for me. Wilson, Odunze, and Tet have bad QBs. Pearsall has been out but might return this week- though Aiyuk might return the following week, and Wilson is out now.. Odunze and Tet have had some low volume low reception duds the last two weeks but those could be anomalies. Tet gets a new QB this week.

i lean towards option 2 if pearsall is the WR I give. or option 1. Option 4 could be interesting.. an upgrade at WR would be nice, but i don't need 5 wides and can i get through ROS starting Bill and Rhamondre at RB? at least i won't have the headache of my #3 overall draft pick rushing 18 times for 25 yards. -- or could that bite me- will the Eagles OL figure out how to run block in the second half of the season?

I'd try to move Dowdle and Bill for a WR1. If a team is truly RB needy then they'll do it

I'd try to sell Saquon for a WR + RB, and the package Bill and Wilson or Tet for a top tier RB or WR. The Eagles O-Line has looked horrible and I don't see it getting any better. I'm also not sold on Bill, but he could have some upside once Deebo, Noah Brown, and McLaurin all come back. Pearsall probably doesn't have much trade value at this point but he has a ton of upside for you. Odunze is a hold for me. Dowdle may be a sell high candidate. Charbonnet is a hold because I don't think he has any value. BRob is droppable for someone with more upside on waivers.

I don't like Dowdle not starting and being in a committee despite tearing it up for the two weeks Chuba was out, but he does have the easiest run defense match-up, while Bill and Rhamondre are starting rb1 on their teams but have really tough run defense matchups.

yeah; I was slightly leaning to bench Bill. Bill technically had a great match up vs DAL last week and busted as playing from way behind changed game script quickly. while Rhamondre scored 2TDs on my bench.. both CLE and @KC are really tough sledding for starting RBs that don't catch a lot of passes, but Bill is on the road at Arrowhead. meanwhile Dowdle also busted with Chuba taking half the snaps and handoffs away from him so who knows.

I just know I'll guess wrong again because that's how fantasy go.. and of course i'll have Saquon in my RB1 spot rush 18 times for 40 total yards again lol.

I'd do it. Kraft is a huge upgrade and you'll still have good WR depth. I think Pittsburgh has been gradually opening up the offense too, so DK should only get better.

Aaron Jones Officially Questionable to play tonight. I have both him and Mason in a league. Not sure what to do at flex if both are active, also could go Rico or Woody.

I think I'd stick with Mason for now. His value and weekly production may drop some with Jones returning, but he's still a better start than Rico or Woody until proven otherwise.

I don't like any of those options, but Bill would be the best bet IF McLaurin and Deebo play. That will take a ton of heat off him. Next I'd go Rhamondre because I think their offense can score against anyone with the way Drake May is playing. Last I'd pick Dowdle because it feels like a negative script game with a split backfield which could mean a major bust for Dowdle.

Dowdle had 19 touches and over 90 + total yards. He didnt bust. That is a good running back stat line. It would have been a great week if he got a TD.
