Sorry guys, I can't follow the Texans thread. Maybe we'll find out which team decides to advance.

Might want to check your facts there.

You're right, but the point he makes is also valid. In most of our modern lifetimes there have been 3 in the last 55+ years.

Congratulations to the Houston Texans for dominating the Steelers 30-6 to advance to the Divisional Round for the 3rd consecutive year and win a road playoff game for the first time in 7 tries. After the Steelers led the Texans 3-0 at the end of the first quarter, the Texans outscored the Steelers 30-3, including 23-0 in the 4th quarter. As a result, the Texans handed the Steelers their 7th consecutive playoff loss, including 3 home playoff losses in 2017, 2020, and 2025 since an 18-16 road win over the Chiefs in the 2016 Divisional Round on 1/15/2017. Also, the Texans snapped the Steelers 23-game home winning streak on Monday Night Football game by handing them their first home loss on Monday Night Football since a 23-20 loss to the Giants on 10/14/1991.

John Harbaugh is available. If nothing else it'd be fun to watch the fallout.

Harbaugh would just keep them in the same cycle they are in

They need to move on from Tomlin and hire some young coordinator. Be bad a couple of years to get some draft picks. Specifically a quarterback.

As a Steelers fan I was sick when the Ravens FG missed and it meant Tomlin got his stupid playoff game. That said, hopefully the 4th quarter last night, and entire game frankly, was enough to get that turd out of Pittsburgh.

He's the most mid coach there is. There is nothing innovative at all about him. He's inflexible and takes advantage of the most football follies division in the NFL to barely squeak by and get his 'no losing season' stamp. Yet somehow all the national pundits treat him like he's God's gift to coaching. No other coach is given the constant pass that Tomlin gets in the media.

He won a Super Bowl with Cowher's guys and has slowly regressed ever since. Once Ben got too old to bail him out of bad situations his true coaching ability shined through.

They currently have a 1, 2, 3 3's, 2 4's, and 5 more picks in rounds 5-7 in the draft. Tomlin (and Khan too) do not deserve to be the ones in control of all those picks.

End this charade now.
