Anyone played it? Is it good?

I like it. Playing it on the Series X in performance (60 fps) mode. The writing is top notch... very much matches the type of humor from the movies. Constant banter amoung the squad and it's great.

Great collection of 70s and 80s music too. I was surprised how hyped I got when I was fighting a group of baddies and Hangin Tough from New Kids on the Block started blasting. Was awesome!

Definitely a fun game! More linear than I would've thought, and very light rpg elements (companions with unlockable abilities, and conversation choice consequences that have an effect later on)
I'm pretty sure PlayStation has a black Friday sale for it going on right now, not sure about other platforms

I just got this game, it's pretty awesome. I haven't played any games in a while, most games have gotten too complex and time consuming for my liking. I appreciate a fun game with good story and characters where you can just run around and shoot stuff without having to think too hard that doesn't feel like a chore to play. Kinda feels like halo with a better story and characters mixed elements of final fantasy (fighting with a team with unlockable abilities). Funnest game I have played in a long time.

Been wanting to get this, but like above games have gotten to time consuming. Is this more of a GTA/Fallout type game? Is it online based or can you play offline and just through the story?

I just bought it - basically as a Christmas present to myself - so I'm going to wait until the 25th to play - but definitely looking forward to it.

Offline story mode only, it's a linear story, not like GTA/Fallout.

Not currently. The Avengers game which was also made by Square Enix eventually came to Gamepass so I would say it is a decent bet this will as well.

Square announcing that sales were disappointing. I gotta say, I was completely turned off by everything they showed, which seems to be a common theme everywhere, that folks only starting checking it out when it got good reviews and awards. Seems they need to take a deeper look at their marketing department...
