I want to get my son a good bluetooth speaker as one of his Christmas gifts. Anyone have recommendations. I was thinking about these since they can be synced. Thanks.

Kind of a jack of all trades set up. Mostly listen in his room, but the ability to take it with him if needed. He is 15. I listen to it also when he is listening from his room, so something that has good bass response and clarity. Not afraid of spending a little bit of money on it, figure he can take it to A&M with him.

I have one of those and really like it. Having two and pairing them together is a pretty good idea, I think that would be more than enough for most spaces. I use just the one on the back porch and the wife gets concerned that I'm bothering the neighbors.

JBL is a great choice and if you are fine with the money go for it. A slightly more budget option is the Oontz. We have a couple of those and like them a lot.

I have one of the jbl's. I am happy with it. Wait for Black Friday. I believe they had them for fifty bucks during the summer prime day, so maybe they bring that back. For fifty bucks, it is a heck of a speaker.

Imo, the JBL Charge series is the best. Great bass and sound, and better sound than all others I have tried.

We have a couple of the bose soundflex and like how they sound.

I enjoy the ue boom series

JBL is great. I also just picked up a TurtleBox and if you need something waterproof and LOUD, hook a couple of these up in stereo!

I've got two JBL Flips and pleased with both.

This is my recommendation. My daughter has one for her room and it's perfect. I have one as well that's been beat to crap, dropped off of boats into the lake, and took a fall off the top of my dad's F250 onto the concrete when a damn bird flew into it. Still works perfect and sounds great.

With the app, it's easy to set up multiple speakers to play the same thing.
