I have an employee I know is stealing. I would like to install a keylogger or something on his company computer to see what he is doing and root out other thieves, as I think there are more involved.

I have tried Spyrix - windows 10 did not like it and kept popping up messages.

Is there something that can yall have experience working?

Do you have a company that currently takes care of your IT support and/or other IT related issues?

It might be beneficial to go through your existing IT serving company because their knowledge of your specific setup may speed things up a bit.

And it may also help provide some cover. For example, if IT has to come by to patch some security issues on your computer, the suspects computers and a few others. That wouldn't single someone out or raise suspicions if you needed their machine to install software on it.

I just want to know more about this story, I don't have anything to offer but am rooting for you figuring things out.

Depending on your location / state of business you want to tread Carefully here as it can be a bit of a legal gray area. If you have a law firm your business has used in the past I would vette it with them, then assuming they green light you, you'll want to look into employee monitoring software that performs key stroke logging, captures screenshots, URL/keyword/site category filtering/flagging etc.
Then you'll likely be best served to install it on ALL business workstations for every employee.
