Currently the only internet available for my residence is 20Mbs. If that were the case would you consider keeping the stability of a hard wire or moving to something like AT&T Internet Air (speeds of 40-140?) but possibly lose stability with weather?

I'd get starlink…

Not worth it at $600 initial hardware price and more than double the monthly cost. Plus if OP has Att wireless already, Air is only $25-35 a month if I remember. My vote is for Air.

How much is your current service? Also, do you have Att for cell service? That'll give you a good idea for what you could expect from Air

I've never lost signal with starlink, just food for thought

Yeah, he's probably capable of deciding what's worth it…

Do you have T-Mobile service in your area? I had starlink (good) and switched to T-mobile 5g home internet (great). Both worked in middle of nowhere Lavaca County.

Note that on the T-mobile I'm not in their 5g home internet area according to their maps, but I decided to try it anyway since a cell phone gets good service - and my home internet is fine as well

No issues / outages with weather?

No weather related outages on Starlink or T-mobile. Starlink had random outages that were service interruptions on the provider side, but even those were few and far between. T-mobile just uses cell towers so it's a similar experience to a cell phone
