I've been a Fitbit user for years, but it seems with my last Fitbit and the acquisition by Google that the quality on the higher end Fitbits has dropped. Google has rolled back some features and the software seems to have more glitches. I think Google is trying to push users of the higher end fitbit to their Google watch.

With all that said I'm thinking about a Galaxy 6 watch. I think it will do what I want from the reviews. Big things I use my Fitbit for are to track runs, sleep, calories in and out, email and text. Anyone have any thoughts on their use of the Galaxy 6? I keep seeing reviews talk about the preference for the Galaxy 6 classic, but other than a physical interface it never seems to say why. Any thing that the Galaxy 6 does that will blow me away?

I have a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, moved from a Fitbit Ionic to it. I like the watch a lot, integrates very nicely to my Galaxy S21. Only thing I don't like about it compared to the Fitbit is battery life. It needs to be charged every 40 hours or so, but it being a cellular version probably doesn't help. Sorry, don't have experience with the 6.

Thanks for the reply. That's more experience than I have with the Samsung watches.

I also like my Galaxy 5 Pro. Battery life on watches and their charging is kind of notorious but I get good use out of it and as long as I have my phone/buds around it's fantastic. My only gripe has been some of the payment stuff being a pain. But it's not bad.
