Have a Samsung23 plus and after downloading a weather app, this rogue app took over my homescreen and wiped out my widgets.

Have any of ya'll seen this before?

His is what's on my home screen now:

I've googled it and got nothing. Just I perform a hard reset?

What was the app and did you download it from Google Play Store? If so, have you reported it to Google?

Both for diagnostic reasons and for "avoid this app" reasons.

completed a hard factory reset and when adding back the apps I wanted I noticed an "AI Weather" app. The app never showed up when I looked at apps before I reset the phone, so i didn't download that app, BINGO. Problem resolved. The little wh*re is gone. :-)
