I have an old iPad that we are replacing. Does it have any value or how should I dispose of it. Will Apple take it back for recycling?

You can see what they will give you for a trade in or for a credit but it's not great. You'll probably get a better price selling it here or on Fabo market place like Agwillwin said.

Probably has a little value, do you have any kids/grands/family friends you could give it to for school/entertainment?

Even on just wifi, it can be used as a communication device. When I leave my 9 year old son home when I run to the store real quick, he can facetime me if anything comes up (or if he wants to call me and just make armpit fart noises).

There are a lot of out-of-box ways to use these.

If it works fine - then it's a good option to sell it. I don't know what the price can be, but you can look for similar offers on different sites and choose an optimal one

My Mini 2 sits on my desk running a Clock/weather temp app. The only problem is that if unpluged, it goes dark within about an hour or two. The other issue is that the stand/case on it is a bit on the flimsy side. Touch it a little and it falls. Neither are huge deals
