How long do you want to ignore this user?
I am not a good nerd. I expect to be in parts of the EU and maybe Africa for extended periods. Should I invest in a fire stick or something like that to allow access to movies.

What are my options? What is the easiest? I don't mind spending money but if I can avoid a costly solution I would like that.

Easiest option I've used is a service called Always Home.

https://www.homingsystems.com/

Not sure why the url has a different name but I've used it over the years from multiple continents and its worked great. Like a VPN, but is actually a proxy to a residential connection, so I've never had it get blocked by any streaming service. To them it just looks like my traffic is coming from a house somewhere in the states. They have an app for Android(and Android tv and fire sticks) and iOS and PC/Mac even make a router dongle you can connect to your router and then just connect any of your devices to it and it will work. Also options to setup a proxy to your own home.

looks like no copyright law in most of Africa, so you could always go the Kodi/Firestick route there.
