We're looking st getting my son a switch for his birthday. I haven't bought a console since my 360 and haven't bought a Nintendo since a n64. Should I get the oled vs the regular?Any other consideration?

Switch2 is coming out most likely next year. Otherwise get the oled.

OLED is significantly better than the regular screen. Size and color are both noticeably improved.
