Family phone tracking and management

How long do you want to ignore this user?
My family has a mix of Android and iphone users, some locked and some unlocked, with a variety of providers.

I've never tracked locations, usage, or restricted anything, but I need to now. Tracking is fine, but not my highest priority. I'd like to be able to shut off wifi, data, purchases, etc., on certain phones without having to go to the provider. Sometimes the provider won't even allow this because the contracts don't allow you to turn off data at will on specific devices.

TIA
94chem,
That, sir, was the greatest post in the history of TexAgs. I salute you. -- Dough

Life360 has worked well for us for the location part. Works across apple/android. Think it would carriers too.

Getting into access monitoring and restrictions is harder. When I looked into it years ago when the kids were HS age, I never found anything great. Doubt it has improved much. My sense was that the manufacturers have no reason to promote it (they could not care less about children and parents) and even seem to actively work against allowing it in the name of privacy and rights.

We use Qustodio. It does a decent job. Doesn't monitor discord which I think is its main lacking, but haven't found anything that does a better job.

Yeah, this was pretty much our experience. Anything we put on the Wifi seemed to slow stuff down, but now it seems easier to at least monitor their websites.
It was tough with the phone, especially since we were on unlimited plans. The best thing was just taking their phones and checking or more commonly, just put them away.
