  • The Xbox Series X 1TB Digital is now $550, a 22 percent increase from $450.
  • The Xbox Series S 1TB is now $430, a 22 percent increase from $350).
  • The Xbox Series X 1TB with Blu-ray is now $600, a 20 percent increase from $500.
  • The Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition is now $730, a 22 percent increase from $600.

New games will be $79.99 to follow Nintendo.


This is a sign to do your Christmas shopping now. Inventory is shrinking in the US. There are no ships coming from China. Christmas inventory for anything, occurs in Q3.

33% increase to games seems like the bigger eye opener here. Big release games have been arbitrarily set at $60 for many years.

Big game releases moved up to $70 over the last 2 years.

I don't understand raising the console price. It isn't selling well anymore and it's 5 years old.

I am surprised on how quickly they followed Nintendo with the game price hike after the backlash
