Yeah, I like U2 just fine, but installing it in my iPod and not letting me delete it was annoying.
As for a company forcing progressive politics, no company should force their politics on anyone, period. Unfortunately, Tim Cook is in charge of the largest Zero-F*cks given company in the world. I mean, Tim is taking his business to India, instead of bringing it to the US because, again, when you're the biggest, you can show just how Zero F*cks you give, even to a POTUS.
Also, why are conservatives still buying ANY Apple products? I remember years ago folks on here saying they never had, or never again would buy anything Apple because Apple has no fear of showing its liberalism.
I don't care where the phone is made as long as it's affordable. Make it in the US and not charge me 4,000 bucks, fine. But if you have to keep it foreign to keep the price down, do it.
I am conservative and I won't purchase anything but iPhone. My business can't afford to have a phone crap out like every Android device I've ever owned. I make a living with it. Since 2007, I've owned two androids because I wanted to "experiment" both failed in a year or so. Since 2007, I've had exactly one iPhone have some unusual failure and Apple stood behind it. We use Apple products because they are good and they just work. When my phone needs upgrading, I order a new iPhone without any other consideration.
As for Apple adopting old tech and treating it like it's new, my androids were a great example of half baked technology. Fingerprint scanners were all the rage with Android once. They didn't work worth a flip u til Apple rolled it out. I feel like all new technology on my android phones was like getting octagonal shaped wheels. They rolled, but they weren't fast or refined and they were prone to breaking in half . Then, Apple busts in with BFG KO2 on 20" Chrome wheels and all the Android guys are start crying "but we had wheels first!"
You can change the wallpaper to whatever you like. The pride paper has been on these devices for many updates. It's not new right now.
