....between 2GB and 4 GB vRam?
First my story. I have an older desktop that I use strictly for light video editing (highlight videos for a high school football team). AMD FX-4130 Quad core processor, 3.80 Ghz, running Windows 7 Pro. 16GB RAM, 64-bit. Cyberlink Powerdirector editting software. It's no powerhouse by any means but it has been getting the job done.
I'm replacing an Nvidia GT-610 (1GB) that crapped the bed at some point. I was lucky enough to have a GT-210 (512MB) laying around to get me by for now, and at least confirm that the 610 was indeed bad.
I'm looking at ordering either a 2GB or 4GB card. I'm wondering if I'll see a big difference, if any at all?
One more note, I've been doing this video thing for quite a while now but may be retiring from it after this coming football season. So I'm not interested in getting a new computer or $1500.00 GPU or anything like that.
