Getting rid of ads on YouTube for IPhones

Premium Lite is $7.99 per month but you have to buy it through the Apple Store which adds 30% making it $10.39 a month.
Does anyone use an absolutely FREE iPhone ad blocker?
I haven't had a tv for 22 years and watch several hours of YouTube per day but the ads are driving me nuts.

You should be able to subscribe to premium lite on the website and avoid the apple tax. The Premium Lite option doesn't show up for me in my YouTube account (I already have YouTube premium), but I can access it if I go directly to youtube.com/premiumlite

I had no idea that was even a thing (as they obviously don't advertise it), I've done a trial of Premium and it was great but I don't really want to pay 15 bucks a month. Might have to give Premium Lite a shot.

No ads anymore. You can literally save hours of your life in the future. Why anyone watches YouTube ads these days is beyond me.

While this is great if you're only watching YouTube, watching in the app allows you to easily have a video on while doing other things on the device.

I watch a lot of youtube, and Premium also includes youtube music, so $13.99/mo is more than worth it imo

If you're willing to put in some effort, a Raspberry Pi running PiHole or AdGard would kill ads for your entire house.

On a TV? If you have a Roku use the Apple TV app. Or you could get an Apple TV device.

I think they meant adblocking on an Apple TV.
