This board is in my unit heater in my garage.
I pulled off the old one, which is on the right. It looks like those metal standoffs are kind of built in? Each one had a screw going through it to mount.
The new one I bought from supplyhouse.com is on the left. It has those plastic things in the holes.. looked like maybe I could just push it in place to existing holes, but the holes are quite a bit smaller than the plastic things.
Are these plastic things supposed to come out? Or the metal standoffs come off of existing?

Not sure how to get this thing mounted... thought maybe this board would be familiar with this type of thing.

That metal looks like it was press fit in place? I dont think those will come out if the lip is over the PCB. You can try to pry is off but i doubt it will come off. Do you have a 3d printer? You can easily print some standoffs to replace the old metal ones amd remove those plastic push pin ones. If not, you can use nylon washers to get the same effect.

+1

I'll just add that nylon spacers may work better than stacking washers, just for the radial clearance

yeh that may have been easier... just wasn't sure if those plastic standoffs were supposed to come out.

Anyway, this board came with this metal shield thingy, with holes lining up with the plastic standoffs. I was able to use a couple of self tapping screws to mount the metal shield, then drilled a few holes that lined up with the four corners, and using those plastic things, pushed it into place and it fit.. nice and sturdy.

Only after I did all this, I find instructions in bottom of box explaining exactly what I did lol. Not sure why they don't just make the replaces have same standoffs at OEM.. oh well.
