I did the same build this past year. I held out for a 5080 FE because I really like the cooler design. I'm so glad I didn't have to pay current ridiculous RAM prices.

yeah I wasn't ready for a new build yet as my other PC has a 6900XT and a Ryzen 5800 with 32G DDR 4 RAM, but I knew these prices were going to be crazy for a few years...so I used that as an excuse to build out this new PC LOL. Wife was happy that I "saved" money by not waiting LMAO!
