I really hope this is true. I really miss using Nova for the past year or 2. It was by far the best android launcher. I am currently stuck on microsoft launcher as it was the closest i could find for what i liked in Nova.

Looks like they published an update this week. It seems to be working on the newest android on my Pixel phone.

Guess maybe it hasn't updated and hadn't noticed, but I've been using a licensed Nova Launcher for years and never noticed anything wrong. Am I crippling my phone somehow? Don't do anything fancy with it, just shortcut and dock customization and locking the screen.

I used to use different custom launchers back in the earlier days of Android, because the stock ones kind of sucked.

Seems like the Pixel launcher does everything I need it to. What useful features does Nova add these days?

Lets you get rid of that crap on the homescreen that pixel forces on you.

No, it still worked for most but some newer devices came with updated company specific launchers and the old outdated Nova would crash and fail to handle the objects. Now that its being maintained again, everyone can use it.

Used it on the Note 8 and the Pixel 7 Pro and now the Pixel 10 Pro. Never had any issues. Just discovered a couple of months back that the dev team was gone and it was no longer being updated.
