If you are making cornbread and it doens't contain buttermilk and bacon grease then you fail. I will post my recipes tonight.

Are you cross posting these on other boards?

I know it's an OB cookbook but I have no doubt that other people would have some really good input.

No I haven't cross posted it, but I did raid the GB Crockpot thread as well as going thru all the chili threads.

Ingredients
4 cups Pioneer biscuit mix
2 cups of sour cream
1 can of 7up or Sprite

Instructions
1. Put the Biscuit mix and sour cream in a bowl and mix well.
2. Add 7up or sprite a little at a time until a ball is formed (you won’t need the whole can).
3. Put some Biscuit mix on the counter and roll out mixture the size of your pan (Miss Kay uses her small iron skillets).
4. Melt ½ stick of butter in the pan.
5. Use the closest thing that is round (glass jar) to cut the biscuits out.
6. Dip both sides of the biscuit in the butter then place them into the pan close together.
7. Cook at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
