My wife went to victoria this weekend and decided that it would be a good idea to adopt a rescued dachshund to keep our current mini wienie company. This came to my attention after I returned Sunday.

Fred is now up for adoption again.

He is about 1 year old, somewhat potty trained, plays well with others(people,cats,dogs) but very shy and likes to explore. he will also try to beat you to death with his muzzle when he is happy. Before being rescued I assume he was beaten because he doesn't like swooping hands and will roll over and be submissive when confronted.

He has up to date shots and he is cut. he is appox 10 lbs

he is free to take home as long as I have your word as a person you will not abuse him or let him be abused.

also he is micro chipped

shots do include rabies

he would love another dog and can meet halfway

It may help the adoption process if you could post a full transcript of the conversation between you and your wife upon your return Sunday.

You should probably return him to the rescue you got him from unless it was the pound.

Check the paperwork she signed with the rescue. They may request that you return Fred instead of adopting him back out yourself.

how are we supposed to tell if his back is level, when the level is on the ground. duh.

drop him in a envelope and mail him to West Virginia. Apply an extra stamp, just to be safe.

You have effectively ruined any chance you have at bringing home any new toys and pulling the same stunt.
