tl;dr Finnish couple with YouTube sailing channel overwinters their sailboat, frozen in ice, in a Greenland fjord. These folks are just built different.

I while back I was going down an Alaskan rabbit hole and YouTube offered a suggested video of a sailboat crossing the Northwest Passage. I watched it and later I probably watched another; so you know what happened to my algorithm. A couple months ago they shared a long video spelling out how they were going to spend the winter frozen-in Greenland. I was hooked.
This has become one of my favorite follows and I thought maybe some of you might enjoy it as well. Most videos are 20mins, the first one in the Greenland series is the longest at almost an hour. I will post a link here to a playlist of the last 7 videos, the 'Greenland series'. This isn't the usual couple sailing the Bahamas with thirst trap screengrabs to promote - this is extreme seamanship and I think pretty risky. It was very interesting to see Juho go through his checklist of picking a spot: tidal flow, water depth, bottom type.
They are within radio hailing distance of a village and have purchased a snowmobile from the village (delivered by the villagers) for provisioning/emergency purposes, but it's still an hour and a half away by snow machine. On book-o-face they shared pictures when family came and visited them, so there do have limited contact, but Starlink is the main link to the outside world.

This video from a few weeks ago is a pretty good representative video to gauge your interest in their adventure:
Nova (the dog) is the polar bear early warning system. No sh*t. That's what they got Nova for.
