I have a female goldendoodle that is 75/25, (dad is a tricolor poodle, mom is a 50/50 golden doodle).

First thought is she is heavy poodle, so maybe find a golden retriever stud, but then I worry the pups would be too big. Breeder anticipates she will be about 35 pounds when fully grown, but only 5 months now, so we will see.

Perhaps another 75/25 or a 50/50 goldendoodle?

When deciding on breeding a dog, you should first ask yourself, what characteristics and traits does this dog have that are better than 90%+ of the gene pool? Breeding should always be done with the eye on betterment of the "breed." So what is it that you have learned about your 5 month old dog that makes you think she is needing her line propagated?

Haven't put much thought into it yet, I might not end up breeding her at all. I just know lot of people want goldendoodles but they are pricey.

Would you consider a yellow lab crossed with the Doodle? Tucker is great at eating off the stovetop when the opportunity is there.
