Just picked up the WeBoost OTR. with the over compensating antenna. My question is for those that have installed themselves. Which is the best route to enter the cab of the vehicle? The rest is simple. Easy to hide most of the other cords.

There should be a grommet on the firewall. Every Ford truck I have had from 1985 to 2024 has them. That is always where I would run coax and cabling.

I used a tilt base for antenna and ran coax under rear of cab. The grommet he speaks of is there but I decided it was difficult to get I where I wanted. Drilled a hole from bottom into under seat storage area. I put box under there as well and powered it there.

Thank you for the comments so far. I should have specified that the antenna will be mounted on or near the toolbox.

I ran the cable through the cab vent thing behind the rear seat

On a ford you watch a video on how to get the driver rear seat to lean forward

I can hide most of it under the passenger seat. I will use the plugs on the back of the console for power and mount the internal antenna close to the drivers seat. Probably on the console near the seat belt buckle.

That how I started. Have floor mats so ran power and antenna to back side of console. I'm a HAM so already had power to radio under seat do no prob to add power for that.

This... Did this with a couple of work trucks. Put the module behind the seat & found an empty slot in a fuse panel to plug it into (work truck had PLENTY of powered and un-used ones).

I asked here before I started to get some ideas. It is a work truck. But I didn't wanna throw it in.
I found a rubber plug leading into the cab. I folded the passenger side rear seat down and folded back the sound barrier cloth. And pushed the plug out and drilled a hole through it and then fished the cable into the cab. Then reinstalled the plug. Sometimes overthinking it doesn't help.
I placed the receiver under the passenger seat and hid most of the cables in the trim.

One thing I don't like is the antenna mount. I have it bolted to the toolbox for now. I ordered the overland mount from amazon. That way I can still utilize the drive through car wash

They work really well. I had a weboost in a company truck. If you have zero bars in a spot it may not help(sometimes it can get you a bar or two even with no un boosted signal), but if you have 1 bar of signal these boosters can get that up to three or four bars. Enough to make a call or even use data. The thing to keep in mind is that these are signal boosters so as I mentioned earlier in the post it needs a little something to work with.
