Howdy, yesterday was first trip from Rockport to Corpus Christi. Gotta admit, I was dreading going across the New Harbor Bridge! Could not have been more wrong. My hat is off to all of y'all Civil Engineers out there that build these things. You did a GREAT job! Besides the unique beauty of a cable stayed bridge, y'all got the grades into and off the bridge so prefect that you do not even fell like you are on a roller coaster. With a bridge this high I thought it would be a thrill ride up and down, but, if you closed your eyes when someone drove you across you would never know you were on a bridge at all.
GOOD WORK CIVILS!
