Planted in February this year. It has looked AMAZING all year until the last week.

Other one I planted got heat stress and dropped leaves but has releafed and will make it.

This one just started this.

Is it bur oak blight? Bacterial leaf scorch?

Old age. Mine are dropping leaves and acorns. I wouldn't worry.

Old age? I planted it this year from a nursery.

I think he means "leaf age". It's the middle of September, a d the leaves are worn out. Maybe a touch of some late secondary spots, but give it a good dose of fall fertilizer and get ready for winter.

That was my first thought too. All trees start acting up end of August and into September as they start dropping leaves and prepare for winter.

OP I have two mature Burrs. They are just starting to drop leaves but they are fully done and brown on the ground. My leaves will look like that later in the year but not now. I agree with give some fertilizer and see how they look in spring.
