Hunted with Blaien and Texas Guides at the same ranch I had been to more than 30 years ago. Good number of dove and a Huge quail crop this year Blaien said it's the best quail numbers probably in the 43 years he's had the ranch. Was fun seeing all the different size quail- blues and bobs running around the different ranches in the area. In 4 hunts, we went to 4 different dove fields around Hebronville. Our group of 20 hunters had a great time. Saw an albino mourning dove for the first time.

That area sure needs good rains soon to have more grass before winter. Noticed it was starting to get dry but not near as bad as the George West thru Alice areas I drove thru on the way down there and back.
