Good afternoon Aggies,

My name is Jean-Paul Bourgeois. I am not an Aggie grad but I am married to one and have multiple other family members who have graduated from A&M.

I am the creator and host of a show called Duck Camp Dinners which until this season was shot all in my home state of Louisiana. Season 4, The Texas Tour was our first season filming outside of Louisiana, and I knew Texas had to be the state to film in. At this point in my life, I have more family in Texas than I do in Louisiana. I even spent a few years in Montgomery when my first son was born.

Anyways, if you love the outdoors, love cooking and are a proud Texan, then I think you would enjoy my show. You can find all episodes of Duck Camp Dinners on my YouTube Channel (Stir the Pot) https://www.youtube.com/@stirthepotstudio

Part of what made DCD so successful in Louisiana is that it is a true and authentic representation of the people, food and culture of the state. I am hoping that those of you from Texas, born and raised or just an honest fan of the state and culture, will find the same pride in Duck Camp Dinners, The Texas Tour.

If you already know the show and enjoy watching it, then thank you! If this is the first time hearing about the show then please do me a solid and check it out on my YouTube channel.

Thank you folks and remember... Shoot straight and come hungry

Love the show. I usually find an episode on the weekends while the sun is coming up and I wait for my son to wake up. Makes me wish I was in a duck blind. Keep it up!

Been watching this show and enjoy it immensely. I'm a Louisiana native who has lived in College Station most of my life. I work in media myself and there's lots to enjoy about your show..

Great to know about your Aggie connection! If you ever have a need for voice over, which you don't, look me up. Have an Airbnb in College Station as well.

Watched a lot of your stuff and love it. As an avid YouTube watcher (never had cable) this man knows his stuff.

Would highly recommend his channel and his recipes. Entertaining, I believe safe for work, and incorporates why hunting, food, and cultures are so impactful to recipes

If you want some footage of the pristine hills of the Edwards Plateau I'd be happy to host at my place. Most of the coonasses I take out there call them mountains.

JP, great to see you in the outdoor board. I hope Texas treated you well. Last year was a slow season for all of us. You and I have met a couple times at the Delta Expos. Jay and I spent some time talking and having a couple drinks at the hotel lobby in OKC in July. If you ever want to get over here to do any hunting/fishing, reach out and we will get you set up.

OB folks, JP is a consummate outdoorsman, chef, and conservation supporter of Delta Waterfowl. If you haven't watched any of his shows, I highly recommend it.

Halls Bayou and Hancock land? Got in some good hunting spots.

I didn't see Todd Krampota in the Halls part, is he still with them? He was the hunting manager when I was a member many years ago.

Hell ya! How cool is it that you're posting on TexAgs!

Absolutely love your show! I personally think it's the best waterfowl show there is! I love how you mix in a bit of everything during it with the cooking and fishing portions.

On edit: I just watched your newest episode. I hunted Provident City for the Teal opener. Not sure if you got to tour the old Hotel but it's an amazing place!
