Every fall the wife and I have gone down to the Mesquite Woodworking show in Fredericksburg for the last 10+ years just as a weekend getaway and to see what ideas people have come up with. I've talked about participating for years, and gotten to know the regular vendors. With a lull in projects this year for the first time in the last decade, i decided to finally throw my hat in the ring. I've been working to finish up a bunch of projects to have available to show off, so i am excited to see how it goes. So if you happen to be in Fredericksburg this weekend, come down to the Markplatz and shoot the !@#$ with me for a few. We always see lots of Aggies, and the more we have to keep away any burnt orange, the better...

Pretty neat how you're able to bend the flat wood into bowls and such.

3 dining tables, 2 desks, 2 coffee tables, chess set, 6-7 bowls, some cigar trays.. but I honestly wanted to make more. a few aggie branded items too (I do have a crafters license).

One desk is one i built a few years ago as an idea. I have been using it as my own, but i refinished it and cleaned it up. If it sells, ill have to just use some plywood and sawhorses for a desk for a while:

Ontherocks: I am not sure what end tables you are referring to. I have a few coffee tables. I actually have 1 test end table i made years ago that is just sitting in a guest room. It was a proof-of-design concept.

Texarkanaag69. Not these exact ones, but i have a few more like them I am finishing up. A few already engraved, a few left blank for customization:

That is Osage/Bois D'arc. Freshly cut, it is almost neon/hazard yellow in its brightness. With time and UV/oxidization, it will turn into a honey brown color, and even heavier use (like my pepper grinder) it starts getting a darker charcoal/burnt color:

Got to see all the stuff in the daylight this afternoon and meet Agrams. Pictures really don't do it justice. I drove my Miata so I wouldn't be tempted to bring home a desk or something huge. Got one of the cutting boards the logo on the side for my son's wedding at the end of the month. I was going to make one myself, but haven't had the time so the timing was perfect, and I probably would have spent more on the tools that I don't have to get it done.
