I have about 24 sheets. 32 inchs wide x 18 feet long

Where is the best place to sell something like that

It was carport roofs so only about 6 holes per tin that can be NP1 and be used again

I have thought about keeping it and using for my smoke house that I unfortunately may never get built

Thanks for the guidance

If you aren't going to use it your only real option will probably be to list on cl/fb for free pickup.

How much do you want for it? I have several projects it would work on. I assume it's not aluminum.

I don't know what gauge you have but I can get 26 ga in the size you have for about $50 a sheet new from Crowe's in Milano.

I get lots of that stuff, and usually just scrap it.

I guess I should start saving and selling it.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

So scrap metal is around $9 per hundred pounds. It's worth Much more by the sheet to someone needing it.

I'd get a price to purchase new from McCoy's, Home Depot, etc and list it for 25 percent or so of that.

Brand spanking new "seconds" at my local supplier are 1.70 per foot. "Seconds" are brand spanking new 36" but varying lengths and you don't to choose color.

Not sure if that helps your pricing but I've had truck loads of it I couldn't give away to anyone other than the fella that picks up scrap so I just throw mine on my scrap pile until I have a few tons to make it worth taking to the recycler.

I'd put it in Facebook marketplace for $150 and see what happens. I go through the standard process of "this can be profitable" to "please come get this **** off my trailer."

For everyone else, pro tip, find your local metal roofer if you need metal. These guys all say "yeah, bro, I just throw it away" until you want it and then all of a sudden it's "bro, this stuff goes for 1 a foot on Facebook." Don't let them jack you around.

Last year we sold every piece that came off of a 60 year old barn that was 105' x 40' for .75 per linear foot. Marketplace. Usually 40 - 50 pieces per customer.

I just cant do that there is nothing wrong with this tin except maybe 12-24 inches that would need to be cut off which with a skillsaw and metal blade not to hard

Whoch makes it 32 inches by 16 90 percent decent tin

If I had a purpose I would build be a 24 x28 or so barn and just NP1 the 6-8 holes

So Again Thanks for all the advice from everyone and offers

I am going to try to go a different direction and hope it works

I'd get with coolerguy12. He offered $100. If you think it should be more then I'd get with him and counter.

Too bad it isn't the corrugated tin, as that has a "decorative" value component. I have about 1400 square feet of it in 8-12' panels removed from a barn roof that I need to find a home for. Either someone buys it for crafty projects or it will become scrap on my next scrap yard run.

I get that. I hate wasting good stuff. I used to keep my partial bundles of shingles and whatever. I had rolls of ice and water barrier, underlayment, 30 bundles of partial mix and matched shingles….

I tried to sell some of locally because some folks need it for doghouses and small projects and I have enough to be the same color. Then about the time I was going to trash it, I said "come get this for 100 bucks" and some dude came and got almost all of it for exactly that. He said he used the shingles under his fence lines so he didn't have to mow them. He used it as a weed barrier. Lol. Kinda janky but whatever.

Then my local animal shelter that we donate a lot to mentioned a program called "Huts for Muts" where local volunteers build crap tons of dog houses for people who need them for their outdoor dogs but can't afford them. They had labor but not materials so I took a truck load of all that junk over to them. So that made me feel better. Lots of waste in roofing in my opinion. If they take out two shingles, that whole bundle is trash. Can't return it.

But I DO have a lot of metal roofing that is stacked in my yard that I just won't toss. Lol.

I would be interested if it were shorter lengths. We use it to make rainwater capture structures to feed wildlife waterers.
