Maybe better for the automotive board but with the weather hopefully cooling down I'm planning on tractor maintenance including oil and hydraulic fluid change.

I have some that's been sitting in the garage for a few years (tractor doesn't really get much use). Is it still good to use?

As long as you don't have any condensation/moisture in it you're good to go. I just used some a week ago in my skid steer that was about 5 years old. It's been running like a top.

In my experience it is fine as long as it is filtered in the system it is used in and the color/clarity remains more or less the same as new. I've had equipment using the same oil for a decade or more with no issues.
