Although they won't have any memories of the hunt, yes, people buy these, especially studs like those.

You can pull the skull caps back off and mount on a plaque. Will save a lot of wall space. Then tell her you understand that compromise is important in a relationship, while hanging them back up in the living room.

RAZ Exotic Animal Auctions in Harper Texas oftentimes auctions animal mounts. They have a sale once a month.
People pay crazy money for mounts there.
I attended one of the auctions and they had a number of
Whitetail shoulder mounts. They were not near as nice as yours. A well dressed Hispanic man sitting next to me bought every single one and paid quite a bit for them.
I asked him if he was putting them in a restaurant or something and he replied …"Heck no! I buying them to put in mi casa and tell mi amigos I choot them! " I saw him at multiple auctions and he would always pay big bucks for the mounts of any kind.

Thanks for the great ideas. I'll post something on classifieds.

As I've mentioned on this board, the place I've hunted for 22 years is being bulldozed to become a solar farm. The big ranch house is where I kept all of my mounts. But it's getting plowed too.

So trying to find a home with someone that'll appreciate them.

Some years back I donated some mounts to the "Operation Game Thief " program of TPWD. They kept a couple to use in their trailers and they auctioned the rest at one of their fundraisers.
Worked out good for me and them.

I donated a lot of mounts to the chicken oil reopening. Call and see if they will take a couple more and you can go see them when you're in CS

JH. I called the fellow that I got the other two for and told him your updated price on the remaining. He is going to let me know in the morning and I'll call you. As I explained he has a lot of expenses opening his new place up but maybe he will bite on the remaining ones also. I feel they would be a great deal for him.
Going to make the other mounts he has in his eatery look small though.

Have had two seasons: golf (in Colorado every summer) and hunting in SoTX during Fall and Winter.

Hunting is over for me. Place I've been hunting (best friend's ranch that we've raised our kids together on) is going 100% solar farm.

I've been fortunate to shoot my share of trophies as has my daughter. Nothing will ever top that so choosing to get out of the game completely.
