I have a colleague that bought one of their new 22 Bay Boats and, in my opinion, it's one of the best built aluminum boats around.
The owner, Mr. Foreman, owns Mud Buddy Motors and started Excel back around 2009 if I remember correctly.
They have a plant in Arkansas and Tennessee. Very high quality. They are the only company I am aware of that uses .160 thick aluminum. Lots of guys in the marine industry simply say they are "bad ass"..
